The authors attempt is to restore the "dispensational safety net" to Bible believing Churches and members of the "Body of Christ" that have become confused by false or deceived teachers and the growing numbers of anti-dispensationalists that have come in among the true brethren unawares, ignorant of the Believer's present heavenly position in the risen, ascended, and glorified Lord Jesus Christ. These teachers by not having rightly divided the Word of Truth have come in to many Evangelical Churches teaching the principles of the gospel of the Kingdom and not the gospel of the Grace of God as delivered to the Apostle Paul which are the directed teachings for the Church in this age of Grace. (1 Cor. 15: 3-5).

  • The Rapture will not be fulfilled on the Jewish Feast of Trumpets, instead the Second Coming will happen on that Jewish Feast Day

    Listen to Today's Program Play

JD: David earlier I was discussing the fall Jewish Feasts with a couple of our broadcast partners, Winkie Medad and Steve Herzig and this week we were able to receive a question from one of our listeners connected with this topic.

DJ: His question was this, will Rosh Hashanah be the day of the Rapture in some year in the future? Then he said the bases for his question is that the four spring feasts have been fulfilled by Jesus. And of course those four feasts are Passover, Unleavened bread, First Fruits and Pentecost. Then finally he proposes that the Rapture would fulfill Rosh Hashanah with Yom Kippur corresponding to the 70th week and then Jesus returns to usher in the millennial kingdom to fulfill the Feast of Tabernacles. Its an interesting question that I've had before and I know you've had if before as well. But we would believe that the Bible shows that Jesus second coming will be on the Feast of Trumpets and so that will be the fulfillment not the Rapture. And if the Rapture were to fulfill that Feast then it can't happen at any moment and in fact there would be 364 days of every year that the Rapture couldn't take place. However, we know that the Bible teaches the Rapture is at any moment event.

Another problem is that we know the second coming happens at the end of Daniel's 70th week and the Covenant of Daniel 9:27 goes into effect 7 years earlier. So there needs to be time for the antichrist to rise from obscurity to a position of power so he can affirm and enforce that treaty. So the 70th week can't begin with the Rapture. Now that doesn't mean the Rapture can't happen on the Feast of Trumpets but it doesn't have to and it's not the fulfillment.

JD: David James, Bible in hand explaining that the second coming will fulfill the prophecy of the Feast of Trumpets not the Rapture.

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Without rehearsing everything that David gave in his answer to a Prophecy Today listeners question I would like to explain from the Olivet Discourse the last sermon by Jesus before He was crucified what He actually said about the Feast of Trumpets.

In Matthew 24:29-31 Jesus said that right after the Tribulation He would come back to Earth that's the second coming. Now notice verse 31 He tells the angel to blow a trumpet and call an assembly. That is the fulfillment of the Feast of Trumpets at the second coming of Jesus Christ. This is not the fulfillment of the Rapture that can actually happen at any time, not a special day but any time even today.
  • The first of the three fall Jewish Feasts teach us of Creation and the coming of the Jewish Messiah

    Listen to Today's Program Play

JD: Let me talk to you about the Jewish Feasts days. They are God given and very special for the Jewish people aren't they?

SH: Yes they are Jimmy and happy holidays to you. 5781 that alone is something we can talk about. But yes the fall feasts are extremely important. Rosh Hashanah kicks off the civil New Year, it's significant. Jewish people are thinking about their past year and then they'll be thinking about Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement and of course Tabernacle. So yes this is a very important time on the Jewish calendar.

JD: Well let's do exactly what you have suggested. Tell us why we look at the New Year for the Jewish people as 5781 why not 2020?

SH: In Judaism talking about the Jewish Scriptures there's so many things that we're able to observe from them and then learn. 5781 is the Jewish view of how old the Earth is. When they go to worship on Rosh Hashanah they will acknowledge that yes it's the year of 5781. So Biblical Judaism, Rabbinic Judaism both teach that the Earth is young.

Secondly, shofars are involved and the sounding of the shofar which is a really important and significant and Biblical thing. You have the blowing of the shofar which reminds the Jewish people talks about the Messiah, a future Messiah. And wait a minute we have to take inventory of our life because Messiah is soon coming. Again that's an Orthodox Biblical view where Liberal Jewish people will acknowledge just by their presence at a Rosh Hashanah service. There's this stress between the Biblical and traditional Jewish teaching and the practice of Jewish people and their actually beliefs. It's a really interesting tension that to me has always been worth pursuing because its worth a conversation and Jewish people will talk about it.

JD:  Steve Herzig helping us to see what we learn from the first of the fall Jewish Feasts, Rosh Hashanah the Jewish New Year and the Feast of Trumpets.

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The Jewish New Year is 5781 revealing that the Jews believe God created the Heavens, the Earth and all that is in them some 5781 years ago. On the same day of the Jewish New Year is the Feast of Trumpets which speaks of the coming Messiah who will come the second time on a future Feast of Trumpets, that's Matthew 24:29-31.
  • There is a prophetic connection between the Jewish Feasts and the fruit trees in Israel

    Listen to Today's Program Play

JD: Next Friday evening at sundown begins the three fall feasts. You're talking almost about a month worth of Jewish Feast days. People in Israel encouraging Christians and others around the world to get involved in planting trees especially as it approaches Rosh Hashanah and especially fruit trees. Why is this connected to Rosh Hashanah?

WM: Well Jimmy the tradition is that our Hebrew calendar while technically the year begins on Rosh Hashanah we have different periods when the fruit trees once planted can be eaten from only after three years. All of our holidays in addition to relationship between man and man, man and God, and man and divinity its also between man and the land. The land is very important in Judaism.

JD: And I was reading from a rabbi's post, I was seeing he was talking about Ezekiel 36 where the prophet is actually talking to the land of Israel. Verses 6-11 talks about when you come back into the land and He said I will multiply the fruit trees and I will multiply man on the land with the fruit trees. He brought forward that the fruit trees are basically an evidence of the glory of God, I thought that was a great connection.

WM: Actually the first chief rabbi of Israel said that the end of times becomes apparent when you see the land coming back to life and fruit trees giving fruit. You'll find all these quotes in the Bible because if we have reached a specific time in world history the land will once again flourish and flower and prove that the Jewish people have returned. I think and as you know there are many Christians who come here to help us with the harvesting of the grapes and they also want to be a part of this miracle that is recreated due to the prophets seeing that this would take place.

JD: Winkie Medad with the details behind the connection between the Jewish Feasts and the fruit trees in Israel.

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

As you take a moment to read Ezekiel 36:8-11 you will recognize the prophetic truth found in this passage of prophecy. This is where God foretells His plan for the land of Israel that He has promised the Jewish people. That promise speaks of the time when the Jews return to the land and then the Lord will give them an abundance of fruit in the land for the purpose of confirming His fulfillment of His promise and His prophecy, both of which are being fulfilled today.
  • Iran now has a military satellite that allows the Iranians to attack any American real estate

    Listen to Today's Program Play

JD: Let's talk about Iran they are now bragging about the fact that all American soil is in now within range of any Iranian bomb and they're even talking about putting something in the sky above the United States that could cause an EMP. What do we know about this announcement by Iran?

KT: Well Jimmy I personally found that it quite astonishing to hear that the Iranian government in a government run news agency said openly what you and I have been talking about here in these broadcast for several years now which is the Iranian governments intention to launch an electro magnetic pulse nuclear weapon to explode a nuclear weapon exploded high in the atmosphere over the United States. In this particular news item they said it would kill 90% of the American people boasting of that.

So now they're saying openly previously based on access to either intelligence information or access to statements by Iranian military leaders. Now the political leadership is saying this as well. The second thing that is extraordinarily significant I think they also confirm and that is when you have the ability to launch a satellite into orbit which the Iranians recently demonstrated you have the ability to launch an ICBM and the Iranians just said that. They said openly, we've now launched a satellite into orbit which means we can hit with our rockets any city in the United States. Well you know for years you've heard people saying Iran's space program is purely purely a civilian program this coming from Iran apologist groups here in the United States who are Iranian apologist and from Foreign Minister. But now they're saying quite openly that the fact that they've launched a satellite into space shows that they can now hit the Continental United States and any city in it with one of their missiles. This is pretty extraordinary and it's a big big escalation.

JD: Ken Timmerman with the details on how Iran's new military satellite allows them to attack all of America's real estate.

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Ken's report is a stark warning for America and the reality that Iran is not only a major threat to the Middle East but to the United States as well. This alert is a page right out of the prophetic passages of God's word. Iran is mentioned or referred to in Ezekiel 38:5, Daniel 11:44, and Psalm 83:6. All of these prophecies will be fulfilled in the very near future.
