Could ignorance of Biblical Truth and the failure to discern the seducing doctrines of false teachers be two of today’s chief pitfalls plaguing the Church? Are we living in the Last Days? Could it be our failure to believe that the Bible is true and that it's neglect is the beginning of the great deception, the prelude to the final apostasy in these last days of the “Church age”. It was Horatius Bonar, a great Saint of the past, who made the following statement in light of the epistle of Jude, “In some ages evil seems to sleep. In the last days it will awake to full life and activity. It will seize every instrument: the press, the pulpit, the platform.” Today evil has taken over the press; it has taken over the pulpit and the platform. Bonar continues; “It will enlist every science and art - music, sculpture, painting, portrait, philosophy-making them all subservient to its development. The multiplication of crimes, contempt of laws, blasphemies-these are the specimens of the energy of evil.”In this day in which you and I live these are the things that fill our morning newspapers and are the focus of prime time Television news and “entertainment” programs. There is no use recounting ad nauseaum the things that are happening in our contemporary society. We are now in the midst of apostasy. Is there a remedy? Why not share your thoughts.KMS

Ken Schmidt

Writer, Speaker, Minister

In his own words, Mr. Schmidt describes himself as a member of the Body of Christ by faith in Jesus Christ and the fact of his spiritual re-birth through the redemption of Christ’s blood and the forgiveness of sins. Simply stated he is a Traditional dispensationalist. As a heaven-positioned member of the Body of Christ, his primary theology is Pauline-based, not that of Jesus' pre-cross ministry to Israel.
